Proposing To Your High School or College Sweetheart
It’s that time of the year again, back to school time! Although you’re not buying school supplies and walking through your class schedule, you might be planning on proposing to your high school or college sweetheart. Here are a few school-themed ideas for popping the question.
1. If you are looking for a simple idea, pass your loved one a handwritten note during the day that says, “Will you marry me” with two boxes next to the words “Yes” and “No” for your partner to check. After they check the yes box, pass them a creatively wrapped package, like a uniquely decorated paper lunch bag or a pencil box, that holds the engagement ring.
2. Create a scavenger hunt with clues that lead your loved one to all of your favorite spots from when you first met. At each location your partner will find a new clue leading them to the next. The last spot, your proposal spot, will be the place you first met at school.
3. Take your loved one back to school and propose in the place that was most meaningful to them, whether it was the football field or the theatre. Have family and friends create signs to hold that read, “Will you marry me” if you choose a sporting arena, and if the stage was where you could always find your partner, have a romantic set created that will be the backdrop for your proposal.
Love these ideas but you and your loved one aren’t high school or college sweethearts? That’s okay! Click here to check out our proposal packages that are perfect for all couples.
